Sing to Me

this post is dedicated to my top ten favorite Disney songs...they aren't all the real traditional types.

ten. kiss the girl.
she don't got a lot to say...but there's something about her. at some point every girl wanted some guy to have the lyrics of this song running through his head. i love the scene in the movie, it's just too darn cute.

nine. go the distance.
i find this one motivational...doing whatever you can
in your power to achieve something, or to find where you belong. i want to watch hercules now.

eight. i wanna be like you.
you know most people would pick "bare necessities" out from this movie...but i honestly enjoy this one more. very upbeat, and i love it.

seven. a whole new world.
i wanna go on a frikkin magic carpet ride. it's just a classic. who doesn't love this one?

six. can you feel the love tonight.
ahhh this movie, this song, beautiful. both the movie and elton john versions are good. i'd like to add my honorable mention: the luau song. i literally would shake my little 5 year-old hips when this part of the movie came on.

five. eye to eye.
a goofy movie had some of the best music out of any Disney film, in my opinion. this song makes me just want to stop what i'm doing and dance. powerline rocks.

four. oo-de-lally.
this is a nod to my childhood. i'm not sure if this constitutes as a
"song" or just a little thirty second singy thing. but jumping fences, dodgin' trees, and tryin' to get away will always have a place in my heart.

three. circle of life.
and so the lion king makes another appearance on the list. please, who doesn't try to sing the beginning of this song?

two. hawaiian roller coaster ride.
as i have stated in my previous post, hawaii is one of my favorite places to vacation. the movie has a bunch of good ones, elvis = loveee. it just makes me want to go surfing...or learn to. and i just love the hawaiian talk...ah wikki wikki la la la la la

one. why should i worry.
gotta love Oliver and Company. i jam out to this song daily. billy joel is one of my all-time favorites, and regardless of how popular of a movie this might have been [i think this one is sometimes overlooked], it's my absolute favorite Disney song. so catchy!

Oo-de-lally, Oo-de-lally
Golly, what a day
